We went whale watching
3 years ago in January to the Monterey Bay. From December to April grey whales migrate off
the coast of California in large numbers and they sometimes can be seen
even from the shore. Whale watching sounds like great fun. It supposed
to be but when we went the waves were so big (around 5m) that my 1 year
old Sophie and I became sea sick very quickly. The tour was 3 hours and
we didn't enjoy watching these huge beautiful animals so much. Maybe next time. :)
